Rich began his musical career as a trumpet player
in third grade. He played all the way through
high school. When he was 15, he heard the
lovely sound produced by Van Halen. With Van
Halen as his inspiration, he convinced his dad to
buy him his first guitar for Christmas. He took
lessons for 7-8 years, and when he was 21, he
joined his first band called Shouts With A Fist.
This was a cover band that lasted a shade under a
year. He then became the sound man for the
band Toy Box and was on the road with them for
about 6 months. He came off the road and
formed a band named Little Dynamo and the Slit
Lickers, an original punk band. They played
together for about a year, but then Rich was
asked to join Casual 69 in 2004. To give the
readers a little 2MASS Denial history-- Casual 69
and 2MASS Denial played a few shows together.
In early 2006, Casual 69 came to an end. After
the break up, Rich was asked to join 2MASS
Denial as their bass player. He picked up a new
bass guitar, learned to play it, and became
2MASS Denial's new bass player as of July 2006.
